Technical garments such as Mullion floatation suits and life jackets require a dedicated approach and R&D efforts both in people and in testing equipment. Our comprehensive in house testing facilities at our headquarters in Ardooie (Belgium) and in all our production sites, contain many specific tests for our Mullion garments. Our R&D team, skilled in norms and standards, develops new materials, methods, processes and applications.
Mullion aims for, and achieves, the optimum technical properties and standards within its product range. We consequently hold the highest standard of approvals possible, in each market sector for the relevant products. Furthermore, Mullion works very closely with the various appropriate standards committees and accredited test houses, in order to ensure that the highest standards are set and maintained for the safety at sea industry.
